Marina Cridge

Marina Cridge is an educator, artist, and choreographer from Indianapolis, IN. She started her artistic journey as a rhythmic gymnast, where she qualified for level 10 status. During her competitive career in rhythmic, Marina was part of USA Gymnastics' prestigious Future Sars and Elite Squad Teams, where she received training from National Team coaches and Internationally renowned gymnasts at the Olympic Training Centers in Lake Placid, NY and Houston, TX. During her collegiate years, Marina was the Contemporary Dance Director for Inmotion Dance Company. She graduated from The Indiana University with a B.A. in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and a minor in Dance. Currently, Marina is based in Washington, D.C. She teaches various dance, music, and movement enrichment programs in numerous schools throughout Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia. Most recently, Marina led a Family Dance Workshop at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History with Local Motion Project, performed with Liberation Dance Project in their debut performance at Dance Canvas DMV, and was cast in various works in NACHMO DC, Intersections Festival. Marina aims to inspire and empower young artists to explore and nurture their creativity. Her passion for dance stems from the endless opportunities it provides to learn, create, and grow.
