GUYLENE GOZNER

Guylene grew up in the DC area and participated in dance classes, theater productions, track, and choir throughout her childhood. She studied various dance forms locally and overseas, beginning her study of classical ballet with the Alexandria Ballet Company before attending the Bird College of Performing Arts in England. As a trained dancer she then performed in local theaters with the Washington Savoyards, Kathy Harty Gray Dance Theater, and the Little Theater of Alexandria. In the last 15 years she has also practiced yoga, pilates, and recently she's been trying newer forms of movement and exercise. Specifically, she found an appreciation for barre classes as cross training while dancing and continues to have a passion for this exercise form. She also enjoys coaching her daughter's track and field team.

"I look forward to the opportunity to teach clients about the benefits of dance and movement in their lives, because I believe exercise is a great way to set aside time to focus on yourself. I integrate many different exercise methods into my teaching to help clients develop. My knowledge is always expanding as I am committed to learning more.”
